- Statement of Capabilities Worksheet Statement of Work Sources Sought Notice for Pointspan Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Software Support Services at NASA Stennis Space Center NASA/SSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for Pointspan Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Software Support Services at the John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC). The anticipated performance period is expected to be 5 years after contract award including options. Stennis Space Center seeks information to determine if capabilities exist to compete this requirement as a sole source and also whether to set this procurement aside for "8(a)" firms, HubZone firms or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms or any combination thereof across the US. For HubZone firms, if available, please provide a letter of certification from the SBA, dated within the last three years. The NAICS code for this work is 518210 and consists of hardware and software maintenance of the Pointspan Private Branch Exchange (PBX) manufactured by Aastra Intecom Inc. The maintenance includes software subscription, technical support and defective parts replacement for the PBX at Stennis Space Center which consists of Aastra Intecom's Integrated Terminal Equipment (ITE) telephone and interface sets and analog commercial standard telephone equipment. The Government-Owned Telephone Switch System is responsible for providing telephone services for the NASA mission and tenant activities that fulfill mission objectives and defense priorities located at John C. Stennis Space Center, MS. Based on information submitted by companies subject to NAICS code 518210, NASA will determine the final content of the future solicitation. This sources sought notice should not be construed as a formal request for proposals but, rather a pre-solicitation synopsis requesting information under the authority of FAR 15.201. Responses to this request for information are not offers and cannot be accepted by NASA to form a binding contract. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The current contract's Statement of Work (SOW) elements are included within the attached Statement of Capabilities Worksheet for a more detailed review of the work. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the sites for the release of any additional information pertaining to this synopsis or any resulting solicitation. Potential offerors are asked to complete and submit the Statement of Capabilities Worksheet (2 pages) attached to this announcement, electronically, by e-mailing the completed spreadsheet to Cheryl.A.Timko@nasa.gov by 3:00pm Central Time, on March 14, 2016. Comments or suggestions relevant to this proposed acquisition are welcome and may also be included on the Statement of Capabilities Worksheet. Contractors are welcome but not required to submit any additional documentation that may support their ability to comply with the Statement of Work (SOW). Additional responses to the 2 page Statement of Capabilities Worksheet shall not exceed 5 pages, including attachments. NOTE: Indicate if your interest and capabilities are directed at the potential prime contract or subcontract level. DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PROPRIETARY INFORMATION. The Government reserves the right to consider a set-aside based on responses hereto. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
