- Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation BEP-RFP-16-0425 I. OVERVIEW 1. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (hereafter "BEP") has a requirement for engineering consulting services at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing's (BEP) Western Currency Facility & Washington, DC Facility (hereafter "WCF" & "DCF", respectively). This announcement serves to synopsize this requirement. A Solicitation will be issued on or around February 29, 2015. 2. The anticipated solicitation number is BEP-RFP-16-0425. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Under this requirement, the BEP intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract utilizing Lowest-Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation factors. 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-86 including amendments effective February 1, 2016. 4. This requirement will be available as a full and open competition under NAICS code 541330 -Engineering Services. The small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. II. REQUIREMENT 1. Engineering Consulting Services for the BEP WCF & DCF. 2. To be eligible for award, the Offeror must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov, and complete the Offeror Representations and Certifications section. 3. Anticipated Period of Performance - The resulting contract will include a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve (12) month option periods that may be exercised by the Government. 4. The Government will not be accepting any proposals at this time. The Solicitation and any subsequent amendment(s) issued will be published on this website. Therefore, it's the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
