- RFQ for SAGe Well Detector System The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Winchester Engineering and Analytical Center (WEAC) is responsible for analyzing regulated products and samples for radioactive contaminants, routine surveillance and radiological or nuclear emergencies. To accomplish this, a high purity germanium (HPGe) gamma-ray, specifically a Small Anode Germanium (SAGe) Well Detector system is required. A 12-month manufacturer's warranty shall be included. Inside delivery, Installation, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), familiarization training and four 12-month option periods are also required.
