- This is a synopsis/solicitation notice in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) for Ruggedized Marine Hardware Systems as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCPD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. This procurement is being solicited under full and open competition. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWPD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for various hardware components for smart ship technologies. Any additional specifications for the supply items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. The required delivery of the supply items is 30 days after date of award. The purchase order will be awarded on a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis using policies and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details are provided in the solicitation Request For Proposal (RFP) N64498-16-R-5020, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions.
