Description

The Northern Indiana Health Care System VA Medical Center; Marion and Fort Wayne Indiana, will be soliciting offers for Advance Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Service and Wheelchair Van Transportation. The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, materials, and reports necessary to furnish 24 hour a day, 7 day a week ALS, BLS and Wheelchair Van transportation services. Request for Quote VA251-16-Q-0106 will be issued on or around February 29, 2016. Anticipated award date is April 1, 2016 for a period of one year with four one-year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the government. No telephone requests will be honored. The government is not responsible to make available paper copies. Questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. If contractors submit questions, they are strongly encouraged to do so within seven calendar days after the issuance of the solicitation. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions which may affect offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Offerors are encouraged and are responsible for routinely checking the FBO web site for any solicitation amendments that may be issued throughout the solicitation period. No individual notification of amendments will be provided. Offer due date and time will be included in the solicitation document. This is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621910. The size standard is $15 million.
