- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT MODIFICATION AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) - Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) intends to award a modification to extend an existing cost-plus award fee contract on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, which implements the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) for services from only one responsible source to: Columbus Technologies and Services, Inc 7500 Greenway Center Drive Suite 1600 Greenbelt, MD 20770 PLEASE NOTE - THE PURPOSE OF THE ONE MONTH EXTENSION IS TO ALLOW FOR PHASE-IN REQUIREMENTS TO BE COMPLETED NOW THAT A PROTEST ON THE FOLLOW-ON PROCUREMENT HAS BEEN RESOLVED. The objective of this sole source modification is to extend the existing contract, NNG10CR25C, for one additional month of work, and increase the contract value by $5M. Requirements will include providing services to NASA GSFC in the following areas: Software Systems Engineering, Studies and Analysis, Flight Software Systems, Ground Software and Systems, Flight System Verification, and Validation, Supporting Services, Science System Development, and Advanced Concepts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on February 17, 2016 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Teresa Shaw at Teresa.S.Shaw@nasa.gov. The email subject line shall state Extension-NNG10CR25C Notice of Intent to Sole Source." A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED
