Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION VA246-16-Q-0454- BIOTYPER MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for this action. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)This synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84. (III)Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov). (IV)The Network Contracting Office 6-SAO EAST intends to award a firm-fixed price service contract for one year maintenance service agreement at the Durham Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. See Performance Work Statement (PWS) below for details of the service requested. (V)The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 with a small business size standard of $20.5M. This procurement is unrestricted and all eligible offerors may submit quotes. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract. The record must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications. (VI)Questions concerning this solicitation shall be addressed to Benetta L. Northern, Contracting Officer, and emailed to Benetta.northern@va.gov. All questions or inquires must be submitted no later than 12n Eastern Standard time on February 4 2016. No phone calls will be accepted. (VII)The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote is the lowest price and meets the requirements. Quotes are due by 12N Eastern Standard time on February 9, 2016. Quotes received after this date and time will be considered late in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Quotes shall be submitted via email to benetta.northern@va.gov. (VIII)This combined solicitation/synopsis is for commercial services. Statement of Work (SOW): 1) 1 preventive maintenance visits (PM) on site per contract period additional PM visits will be billed at current travel and time charges 2) 2 cleaning visits on site per contract 3) Unlimited Parts and onsite visits (include travel and zone fees) 4) 24 business hours on site after diagnosis 5) Depot unit available for next day shipping in case of long downtime. 6) 800 Hotline for apps/technical service support during normal business hours 8AM till 5PM EST Mon thru Friday 7) Technical support hotline outside normal business hours 5PM-12AM EST weekdays, 9AM -9PM EST on weekends and holidays. Please Note: o Supply free of charge software upgrades to Bruker written software that does not require any hardware or data system upgrades. o Data system coverage (PC, monitor, printer) only offered for the first 12 months after the standard system warranty (1y) has expired. oNot included are, Robotics, Generators, UPS as well as chemicals, calibration kits and other consumables (Targets.etc.) o In the event that the customers performs his own cleaning or service of the instrument without the written consent of Bruker Daltonics Inc this could be considered breach of the service contract and the contract can be voided "Dear customer our first line of support for your instrument is via a Webex remote session.
