- The General Services Administration (GSA) Southeast Sunbelt Region announces an opportunity for construction services for renovation of approximately 13,000 sf of general office space for the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) on the 10th Floor of the Romano L. Mazzoli Federal Building in Louisville, Kentucky. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition required to construct tenant improvements; mechanical; electrical; dry wall; painting; carpet and ceiling and removal and disposal of asbestos-containing (ACM) materials in limited areas. Work will be done in 2 phases. Work will be done in an occupied building. All work will be done after hours and on weekends. The estimated cost of this project falls within the range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 with an anticipated project duration of 150 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The project is estimated to begin in April, 2016. This procurement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This will be a competitive negotiated acquisition. A qualified contractor will be selected utilizing the lowest price technically acceptable selection process in accordance with Part 15 of the FAR. The solicitation will be available on or about February 1, 2016. The solicitation can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as FedBizOpps. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with SAM (System for Award Management) database. You may access SAM at the following URL, www.sam.gov. Once registered in SAM, you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No Federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be on or about March 2, 2016. All offers are to be submitted electronically to the General Services Administration to the contracting officer whose name appears herein.
