- This Request for Information (RFI) is for market research purposes only. Responses to this RFI are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents should not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents should also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to provide the items stated in this RFI. This requirement is for emergency dispatchers. We will soon be going to a consolidated police and fire department dispatch center. We will have two dispatcher stations and one supervisor station. The company will need to provide dispatchers 24/7/365 to the Directorate of Emergency Services, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia. The company will need to provide qualified dispatchers and maintain their certifications. Individuals will be dispatching Police, Fire, Guard, and Emergency Medical Services. They will be performing services such as E-911 help desk information, NCIC/VCIN entries and queries, performing emergency and non-emergency telephone services, and monitoring fire alarms, duress alarms, closed circuit television monitors and maintain shift reports. May be required to answer and process service and work orders after 1600 hours until 0730 hours the next morning Monday thru Friday and 24 hours on the weekends and holidays. These are a few but are not limited to certifications they should maintain, DoD Anti-Terrorism, Public Safety Telecommunicator 1 and 2, CPR, NCIC/VCIN, Emergency medical Dispatching. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential large and small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The contract type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Please provide a capability statement addressing your organizations ability to provide the items required above. Include only general capabilities relative to the requirement as this is not a solicitation and no responses will be considered as proposals.
