- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) has a requirement for Jackson Traps and parts be used primarily for the surveillance and monitoring program associated with several pests including fruit flies. The items required are Jackson Trap Bodies, Hanging Wires, Trap Inserts, and Lure Clips. The Government intends to award a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and it is anticipated that a single award will be made. The NAICs code is 325320 - Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates the need for approximately 620,000 Jackson Trap Body with Toxic Labels, 1,000,000 Jackson Trap Body with Toxic Labels, 2,000,000 Jackson Trap Inserts, 240,000 Jackson Trap Wire Hangers, and 750,000 Jackson Trap Lure Clips. The solicitation and the specifications will be made available electronically at this website on or about February 10th, 2016.
