Description

Statement of Work Goal: To ensure that current BD Canto RUO Special Order System with one Computer Workstation and 2 Lasers remain functional and operational to specifications for all research applications. Contract: Firm, fixed price. Scope of Work: Coverage includes the BD Canto RUO (research use only) Special Order System with one Computer Workstation and 2 Lasers (excluding printers) for labor, travel expenses and parts (excluding consumables), for the following: -Two Preventive Maintenance Inspections to be performed during a twelve-month period, including 2 PM Kits. -Software Revisions released during the Agreement term. -Unlimited service visits, Monday-Friday. -Unlimited telephone support for instruments, reagents and applications will be provided at no additional charge. -Response to a request for emergency on-site service (Monday through Friday, shall be within 48 hours. Additional: 1.Contractor agrees to send a Field Service Representative to perform (2) preventive maintenance inspections indicated above and (b) unlimited visits as reasonably requested by VA to perform repairs. 2.Preventive Maintenance Inspections: During each preventive maintenance visit the representative will evaluate INSTRUMENT(s) performance and provide a preventative maintenance kit (if applicable) for use by contractor's representative. Calibrations, alignments, lubrication and part replacement will be performed as deemed necessary by contractor to maintain the instrument(s) operation substantially in accordance with the published technical specifications for the instrument. 3.Technical Support: VA may obtain support by calling contractor. VA may use this number to speak with a representative during working days between the hours of 8AM and 12AM Eastern Time, and may leave a message at other times. If efforts to correct problems by telephone are unsuccessful and on-site service is requested, a representative will be dispatched to the CMJC VAMC (Philadelphia). 4.Contractor shall provide all parts required to affect a repair covered under its service obligation, except for consumables and those subject to the exclusions. Deliverables: 1. Base + 3 option years contract for BD Canto RUO Special Order System with one computer workstation and 2 lasers. Period of performance shall to be stated in the contract. 2. Pre-inspection required.
