- Description
- This will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS 541511 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be soliciting for services for the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI). The NCCI's purpose is to prevent improper payments and promote consistent coding for national programs, notably Medicare and Medicaid. This procurement will be a small business set-aside under NAICS code 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services, with a size standard of $27.5 million. The NCCI program functions to promote program integrity and compliance through guidance, edits, and other methodologies that promote the consistent administration of CMS payment policies in instances where the manipulation of coding could lead to inappropriate, increased reimbursement. The solicitation will be issued under HHSM-500-2016-RFP-0002 with an anticipated fixed-price type contract award. All prospective Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about February 17, 2016, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Proposals are expected to be due 30 days from the solicitation issue date. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. No telephone requests or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Contractors must be free of conflicts of interest or shall prepare an OCI mitigation plan to address any actual, potential or apparent organizational conflicts of interest that could arise.
