- Please review and fill out The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Force Logistics Center, (SFLC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to determine if there are contractors who can provide pumps, piece parts for the overhaul or repair of Leistriz Company brand-name Screw and Centrifugal Pumps, to support the operation and maintenance of the 418' Maritime Security Cutter Large (WMSL) and 420' Healy Ice Breaker (WAGB) Class of Coast Guard Cutters. The Screw and Centrifugal Pumps are installed onboard the 418' WMSL and 420' WAGB cutter class vessel's, servicing oil and water systems on the cutters. The assemblies must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repair facility or a repair facility that can provide a certificate of conformance stating its use of Leistritz OEM genuine brand name parts for each pump overhaul or repair. Using OEM parts and procedures will ensure the assemblies are overhauled in accordance with OEM specifications and standards and conform to original form, fit and function and be compatible and interchangeable with existing Leistriz Advanced Technologies Corp pumps. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the USCG, SFLC is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U. S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. At this time, proprietary information is not being requested, and respondents shall refrain from providing proprietary information in response to this RFI. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this RFI. Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corp is the OEM of the Leistritz brand-name Screw and Centrifugal Pumps installed on board the 418" WMSL and 420' WAGB cutter class vessels. Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corp is the only source to possess the original drawings and proprietary information. This item is the proprietary commercial item of the contractor. The USCG does not possess and did not purchase the reproduction manufacturing drawings, specifications and other technical data to this item and therefore, they are controlled by and remain the sole property of the OEM.
