- The FCC intends on releasing the RFP for the BOSS requirement before the end of the 2nd quarter FY 16. Please check this site frequently over the coming weeks. This notice had been previously released under FCCPRESOL1600001 NO responses are currently due by interested Vendors. The Government anticipates release of the formal RFP on or before 18 January 2016. The FCC has a requirement for comprehensive, performance based, Base Operation Support Services (BOSS) at its Washington, DC Headquarters (HQ) location. The FCC also requires various BOSS support services at its Capital Heights, MD, Columbia, MD, and Gettysburg, PA locations. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, and management not otherwise specified as Government provided, necessary to provide comprehensive base operations services of all assigned FCC facilities, systems, and associated grounds. The Contractor shall provide an integrated management approach that orchestrates all system operations, support services, facility projects, and small renovations/alterations. The Government’s expectation for this contract is such that all activities and services provided in-house (to the maximum extent possible), are turn-key and all-inclusive. The Contractor shall, unless otherwise specified, plan for the responsibility to operate, maintain, and relocate all property, furniture, assets, etc. within the specified PWS boundary and everything inside the buildings. Based on this need the FCC intends to obtain non-personal services for the continued support, maintenance and sustainment of base operations support services at the FCC beginning March 31, 2016.
