- Synopsis PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Cincinnati Procurement Operations Division (CPOD) and Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL), Sustainable Technology Division (STD), Sustainable Environments Branch (SEB) The EPA/ORD/NRMRL/STD/SEB in Cincinnati, Ohio requires hydrometric sensor dataloggers to supplement existing inventory of instruments for sensing of environmental-hydrologic data as part of green infrastructure projects. The hydrometric sensor dataloggers are pressure sensors to measure and record the conductivity, temperature and depth of water. The following are the minimum specifications for the Conductivity, Temperature, Depth (CTD) diver dataloggers: * Diameter of 0.7 inches (22mm) or less; * Maximum operating range of 0-33 feet (0-10 meters; sometimes listed as 0-15 PSI); * Conductivity range up to 120mS/cm; * Minimum on-board memory size to hold 48,000 measurements; * Temperature accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 degrees C; * Typical accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 percent over the full scale. This procurement will be accomplished using Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 12 and 13 Procedures. The government anticipates awarding a single fixed price purchase order for fifteen dataloggers with an option to purchase eight additional dataloggers within two years of the award of the order. The EPA anticipates award will be made by February 25, 2016. The request for quotation is anticipated for release on or about February 11, 2016, and will be made available through FedConnect at www.fedconnect.net.
