- This is a Sources Sought announcement only - this is not a Request for Quote. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified vendors with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time, no quotes are to be included at this time. This is for the purpose of determining vendors interested in providing the described requirement. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All responses must be received by Friday, February 5, 2016, 3:00PM (EST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, and the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, NY anticipate a base year plus four (4) option years contract for TV channel services, per the Statement of Work (SOW). SDVOSB and Small Business qualified vendors are requested by priority, to respond. NAICS codes may include 515210, 517110, or 517410. Quotes are not requested at this time; only that there is an interest in responding to the opportunity. Sources interested in this acquisition should adequately describe their technical capability and past experience providing TV Services. Please include the following in your response: a.Company Name b.Address c.Telephone Number d.Email Address e.Socioeconomic Status (small business, women owned small business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc.) f.Technical point of contact and qualifications g.Short narrative regarding course of action on how TV service can be provided with minimal impact to patient care and without any major changes to infrastructure. Interested sources should ensure that registration in CCR is current and accurate. All Contractors must be registered and in good standing with: SAM (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) D&B (www.dnb.com) Vets 100 (www.dol.gov/vets) *If applicable Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) *If veteran owned business Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. A formal RFQ may be issued upon receipt of information pertaining to this Sources Sought Notice. Please see the attached Statement of Work for specific information regarding this action.
