No reimbursement will be made for costs associated with providing a response to this Notice or for follow-up information requests. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to acquire knowledge of potentially qualified sources to include size classification information (small business, large business, etc.) and to provide a basis for the government to determine potential set-aside status or restriction of competition. Please do not request a copy of a solicitation, as one does not exist at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Air Force Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of performing annual maintenance and repair services for three separate Kidde Propane Fire Trainers that are operated at Edwards AFB for the purposes of training Base Fire Department Personnel in extinguishing live fires. In addition to performing annual maintenance for the three propane fire trainers that simulate aircraft, helicopter, and vehicle fires; Edwards AFB also requires repair of the Aircraft Fire Trainer to return this specific fire simulator to operational status. Once the aircraft fire trainer is repaired, annual maintenance will apply (as applicable). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code selected for this effort is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Administration size standard for this NAICS designation is $7,500,000.00 (average total annual receipts). Please review this announcement, including the attachment for a full description of the requirement. The Edwards AFB Contracting Office (AFTC/PZIOB) requests that prospective offerors complete and return a Capabilities Statement based on the Requirements stated in the attached description. Any qualified and interested companies responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted. The contractor shall be capable of providing all personnel and materials needed to provide the requested maintenance services and specified repairs as described in this posting. The Government is seeking qualified firms who possess both the capability and experience to provide the requested services and is requesting the following information: CAPABILITIES STATEMENT 1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. 2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, HubZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc. as pertaining to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811310 with a Small Business Administration size standard of $7,500,000.00 (average total annual receipts). 3) If registered in the Federal Government's System for Award Management (SAM), located at https://www.sam.gov, please provide company CAGE code.
