- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to procure a Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) Machine Metallic 3D Printer system on a Full and Open Competition basis after exclusion of sources (100% Small Business Set-Aside) in accordance with FAR 6.2. The Metallic 3D printer will provide NAWCWD with the capability to fabricate products and components from a digital model via an "additive", i.e. layered build up, process. The requirement also includes metal powders base plates as well as printer training and maintenance. Specific information will include detailed specifications and will be included in the solicitation N6893616T0003 and be issued and posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about February 11, 2016 and will close 30 days after the solicitation issue date. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination China Lake, CA. All responsible sources may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov and shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications.
