- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1(b)(2)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to GE Heathcare Technologies. The scope of the requirement is to repair or replace the Diffinium 8000 x-ray's Thunder System PC Workstation to include installation and testing located at the Federal Correctional Institution Otisville, in Otisville NY. GE Healthcare is the manufacturer of this product and the only company authorized to handle the installation. The requirement will be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and implemented at FCI Otisville. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334517. This notice of intent to award a sloe source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated equipment can provide supporting their products capability and specifications by February 1st, 2016. Responses will be used for future acquisitions.
