- Whitefish Mountain Road Construction Specifications Davis Bacon Wage Determinations - MT160080 dated 1/8/16 Request for Proposal - Re-establish Native Surface Whitefish Mountain Road Construction Drawings Flathead National Forest Food Storage Order Tally Lake Ranger District of the Flathead National Forest is soliciting the re-establishment of native surface on Whitefish Mountain Road. This project involves reconstruction of 10.5 miles of Level 3 forest road and hourly heavy equipment rental for reconstruction of a Level 1 forest road. Please see attached map for location. This project is for reestablishing the native surface by roto-milling approximately 5.5 miles of NFS Road 9790 to the junction with a private gated road on the right. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilizing equipment, reconditioning the existing road, installing metal pipe, constructing drain dips, brushing, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies (other than for those listed as Government-furnished items) and supervision necessary to complete the work according to the contract. The work is estimated to begin April 11, 2016 and completed by August 31, 2016 which is approximately 142 calendar days. The construction magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
