Description
Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) A2P2 Production Contract Industry Day Announcement and Registration Instructions An Industry Day hosted by the Government for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) A2P2 Production Contract source selection is scheduled as follows: Date: Wednesday, 10 February 2016 Time: 9:00 A.M. (Pacific Time Zone) to 5:00 P.M. Check-In from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Location: Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) 605 Fort Churchill Rd. Silver Springs, NV 89429 Phone: (775) 629-2000 · Fax: (775) 629-2029 Lodging: Responsibility of the attendee. Travel Information is attached for convenience. The roads leading to NATC have a low vehicle ground clearance and can be difficult to navigate. Dress: Business Casual Note: Lunch will be provided as an on-site option at attendees own expense. The Government will provide additional details upon registration confirmation. Conference Registration Instructions: Please submit the following information electronically to usarmy.detroit.acc.mbx.fmtv-a2@mail.mil no later than close of business 01 February 2016 to pre-register for Industry Day. Pre-registration is mandatory in order to attend. Attendance is open only to U.S. Citizens or lawful permanent U.S residents and U.S. based firms. Attendees are also responsible for completing a NATC visitor pass. The form, "NATC Visitor Pass" is provided as an attachment to this announcement. The Government will permit a maximum of five (5) individuals per Prime Contractor to register and attend and a maximum of two (2) individuals per Tier I/Tier II supplier or small business. 1. Citizenship Status (U.S. Federal or state issued ID card required at Industry Day check-in) 7. Identify if your company is a U.S. based firm along with the address of your U.S. based headquarters. 8. Completed NATC visitor form 9. Do you wish to have your company name included on a published list of attendees? When submitting pre-conference registration information, please include "FMTV A2 Industry Day Registration" in the email subject line. Group registrations will not be processed. The Government will confirm receipt of your registration within one week of submission. The Government will post any changes to the time, date or location of Industry Day to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: https://www.fbo.gov/ The Government intends to display two demonstration vehicles during the Industry Day. The vehicles will have the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) upgrades, as identified in the market survey, installed on them. The vehicles sole purpose are to demonstrate the feasibility of the upgrades and are not meant to be production configuration representatives. The Government will require all Industry Day attendees to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) upon check-in at Industry Day. Question Submittal Instructions: Prior to Industry day, you may submit questions via electronic e-mail to usarmy.detroit.acc.mbx.fmtv-a2@mail.mil Use the following format for your question submittals: 1. E-mail subject line should read "FMTV A2 Industry Day Question." 2. Submit questions in an organized manner directly in the e-mail text. Label each question with a reference to the specific paragraph of the technical manuals and/or Technical Data Package (TDP) which were provided through the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles Market Survey, W56HZV-16-R-0024, to assist with technical team staffing and review of each question. If the question does not relate to a specific paragraph, then label the question with a general subject matter reference. 3. Keep questions brief and to the point. 4. Do not send information marketing a firm's capabilities. Questions submitted after Industry day must also utilize the above procedures. No oral questions are permitted during the conference; however, attendees will have an opportunity to submit written questions on 3x5 cards. The Government may respond to questions using the following methods: during the conference; via public posting to the FBO Website after the conference; or via the formal solicitation release. If addressed via formal solicitation release, the Government may not respond directly to your question but will incorporate its response into the final solicitation. The formal solicitation is the final response to all questions received prior to its release.
