- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-16-Q-0873. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis for the following items: CLIN 0001 FlowExplorer DPSS 300 2D 300 mW, 532 nm and 561 nm Part Number: 9066X0611 (Quantity 1) CLIN 0002 300 mm Front Lens for FlowExplorer Part Number: 9065X0182 (Quantity 1) CLIN 0003 500 mm Front Lens for FlowExplorer Part Number: 9065X0162 (Quantity 1) CLIN 0004 BSA F600 2D 532/561 nm Part Number: 9063N0181 (Quantity 1) CLIN 0005 Software Update for 62S10 BSA F600 Processor Part Number: 9057S0701 (Quantity 1) The basis for the sole source is that Dantec Dynamics is the only manufacturer that can meet all of the requirements. Current system is Dantec and will ensure a smooth transition of software from the old to the new system. Due to the upgrade to the current system, the new system has to be 100% compatible with existing hardware and software components. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. Delivery is 28 April 2016. This procurement is unrestricted under NAICS code 333314; size standard 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this solicitation.
