- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (OPM-CAS) intends to issue a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) modification for the production of up to 381,104 M783 Point Detonating/Delay (PD/DLY) Fuzes. This modification shall be issued under current contract W15QKN-10-C-0015 with L-3 Fuzing and Ordnance Systems, Inc. This modification is intended to be issued using 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B)-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(3); as implemented by FAR 6.302-3(b)(1)(iv)(B), Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. The initial delivery is expected in 3QFY17 at a monthly rate of 20,000 each. Funds are available for this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
