- A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The RFP-solicitation issue date 02/16/2016 and respond due date 03/16/2016. This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0061688754; and solicit as Unrestricted for source control approved sources of supply that retain data rights. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-16-R-1518 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1680-01-545-1296, Latch, Aircraft, Mate for 111 each. Item acquire directly from actual manufacturer Cage 83017, Part Number-HA1173-3 requirements. Item is not Critical Safety as verified on January 26, 2016. Item is not Critical Application nor Export Controlled applies. Item is not commercial. Required delivery objective is 165 days total. Delivery of production requested at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Destination. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
