- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, delivery order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-16-G-0009 to Honeywell International, Inc., "Honeywell" located at 1300 Warner Road, Suite 1201 - 1207 Tempe, AZ 85284-2822 for the Production Ramp, Retrofit, and Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) asset repair for the Advanced Multi-Purpose Display (AMPD) and the Advanced Multi-Purpose Color Display (AMPCD). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Honeywell is the only source that can fulfill the display production requirement. The technical data along with an understanding of the internal design and functional requirements of the 5x5 and 8x10 displays are necessary to allow production or modification to any internal component of the displays without negatively impacting the overall display performance. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Honeywell directly. This synopsis is not a Request for Proposals. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
