- HSCGG1-16-Q-PFA016 ISSUE DATE: 10 February 2016 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to install a stand-alone fire suppression system in the server room at Hamilton Hall. The system shall be complete in all ways. It shall include all mechanical and electrical installation, all detection and control equipment, agent storage containers, FM-200 agent, discharge nozzles, pipe and fittings, manual release and abort stations, audible and visual alarm devices, auxiliary devices and controls, shutdowns, alarm interface, caution/advisory signs, functional checkout and testing. The system shall be installed by authorized/certified manufacturer installers. The system shall be capable of being actuated by manual discharge devices installed at each hazard exit. Operation of a manual device shall duplicate the sequence description above except that the time-delay and abort functions shall be bypassed. The manual discharge station shall be of the electrical actuation type and shall be supervised at the main control panel. The performance period is estimated to be 15 weeks (with two weeks on site). The estimated value of the procurement is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 10 February 2016. The tentative date set for receipt of quotations is scheduled for 11 March 2016 at 4:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 13 and is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns.
