- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to procure strategic communications and media support to support the Agency's innovation deployment efforts. Under the prospective award, the contractor shall develop and assist in executing a strategic communications and implementation plan to include digital communications strategy to enhance the agency's ability to communicate with the public using various social media platforms. It is anticipated that the resulting award will be either a Firm Fixed Price or Time & Materials/Unpriced Purchase Order (or a hybrid contract with both types of Contract Line Item Numbers), contingent upon submitted quotation responses, and will be set aside for small businesses pursuant to FAR Subparts 13.302 and 12.6 in an amount not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. FHWA anticipates issuance of the solicitation no later than Friday, January 29, 2016 with an anticipated due date and time of Tuesday, February 9, 2016 / Noon, Eastern Time. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will be released and available electronically only through the Federal Business Opportunities Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) website at https://www.fbo.gov/. No written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since the solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the listed website for the solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any.
