- This is a sources sought to obtain contractors with the capability of providing an EQUIVALENT SYSTEM to the AUWiPRO, Sysmex UF-1000i, Clinitek NOVUS and Clinitek Advantus (urine analysis) analyzers. Submittals are voluntary and not to be interpreted as an offer for an award/contract. Information will be used for market research purposes. 502 CONS is ONLY looking for EQUIVALENT systems with full capability of running on one platform. Interested contractors must submit all information requested below to evan.fanslau@us.af.mil. Interest Contractors must clearly detail the manufacture, product/part number, literature and full details of EQUIVALENT systems to be considered for this market research. Failure to provide full details or failure to meet salient characteristics below will not be considered as an equivalent system. NOTE: EQUIVALENT systems must have the capability of running on one platform, and, at a minimum, meet the below SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS for each item below: 1. CLINITEK Automated Urine Chemistry Analyzer SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS : - Ability to load 490 tests at a time to minimize reagent handling and provide unattended operation. - True, live calibration of all analytes. Sysmex UF-1000i Urine Cell Analyzer SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS : - Must be able to provide a utomatic classification of 10 formed elements. - Must have a r eliable identification analysis and auto identification of normal samples to eliminate the need for further manual steps. - Must have r educed review rates to provide greater walkaway capability. - Must provide c ell counting capabilities of up to 80,000 particles (or more). - Temperature and pH normalization capabilities. CLINITEK Novus Analyzer SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS : - Must combine dry-pad urine chemistry technology and a cassette test format to help ensure maximum productivity and standardized testing with other analyzers. - Must offer a full spectrum of tests and a throughput of up to 240 samples/hour. - Must offer easy-to-use 'load-and-go' test cassettes to simplify operation. - Load up to 200 samples (or more) at one time with varying testing volumes and tube sizes. - Offer onboard barcode data entry that automatically scans lot number and enters expiration date to minimize data entry errors and improve traceability. - True, live calibration of all analytes with ready-to-use liquid calibration material. CLINITEK Advantus Analyzer SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS : - Must provide a utomatic calibration. - Must be ne twork ready. - Must provide o ne-touch switching between test strip configurations. - Must p rovide a throughput of 7 seconds/sample; up to 500 tests/hour. Special NOTE: As noted above, Contractors with the capability of providing a similar item with the above SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS must submit manufacture, product/part number, literature and full details to be considered for this market research.
