- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Southern Region has awarded two (2) Multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts to support our pine and wiregrass seedling growing efforts throughout the region. The Southern Region includes the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Each task order will identify the specific location and details of the requirement. These IDIQ awards are intended to include a base and four option year periods. The work to be performed shall consist of the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, seedling trays, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, facilities, and supplies (other than the government-furnished items such as seedlings). These contract awards are not to exceed $1,000,000. Basis for award was best value. When determining best value, past performance followed by technical capability and experience is more important than price. Past performance, technical capability and experience when combined are more important than price. If all options are exercised the contract shall expire 12/31/2020.
