- Packaging Requirements Transportation Data for Solicitations Redacted brand name justification Solicitation with Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The request is for solicitation FA8307 -16-R-0020. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is Brand Name Only, OEM: Toshiba. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005- 85, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DPN) 20151230, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2015-1001. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic & Cyber Systems Contracting Division (HNCKI), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the purchase of the following: ITEM DESCRIPTION P/N QTY Unit Price Total Price 1 Toshiba Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Model 1600XP UH3G2L060C61TB8F 10 ea 2 Toshiba Extended Runtime Battery Cabinets for the Model 1600XP UH31-BC-0650 2 ea The associated North American Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) is 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, which has a Small Business size standard of 500 employees; FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Oct 2014), Alternate 1 (Sep 2015). Please indicate delivery date after receipt of order. Award will be made on "all" or "none" basis. Price should be FOB Destination to San Antonio, TX 78243. Please include shipping in the unit price of your quote and not as a separate line item. In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Place of delivery shall be to the following: 230 Hall Blvd San Antonio, TX 78243 The contractor must submit the invoice to the address in Block 18a of the contract. Likewise, the receiving official must submit a copy of the receiving report to the address in Block 18a of the contract. The detailed process will be outlined in the contract. All packages and shipping papers shall be marked with the order number to permit effective pricing and timely payment. To be eligible for award, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM IAW 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance (Jul 2013) and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at www.sam.gov. The following FAR provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2015 ). The Government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with Offerors. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Nov 2015), Alternate I (Oct 2014) with their quote. The Government's preferred method is electronic Representations and Certifications. This can be accomplished by registering in ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov and completing the on-line Representations and Certifications. Copies of all provisions and clauses, including Representations and Certifications, are available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil If a change occurs in this requirement only those Offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided with any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Interested companies must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or woman-owned business, and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned.
