- The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with MTA Bridges and Tunnels, PO Box 149007, Staten Island, NY 10314 to provide New York and New Jersey and surrounding areas tunnel and bridge access for one (1) year through the service of up to 350 EZ passes for government owned vehicles utilized in the performance of investigative and protective duties. Travel throughout the city and surrounding area is integral in supporting NYFO and the Secret Service. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488490. The SB size standard for this code is $7.5 million. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 - Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The determination of the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition was made in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Entities may identify their interest and ability to meet this requirement via a written capability statement only. All capability statements must be emailed no later than 7 calendar days after publication of this synopsis - no later than January 21, 2016, 8:00 AM EST. Any information received will be maintained for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date on or about January 29, 2016. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
