Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to issue a contract modification to EMCUBE Inc., of Alexandria, VA. This effort is a continuation of services begun under an existing contract, N-00030-15-C-0009, of highly specialized TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Program effort. EMCUBE Inc. will provide Engineering Safety Support and Information Technology (IT) services for the services for ongoing engineering safety support and SSP senior leadership training, and UK effort. EMCUBE is the only source capable of providing this effort which is inextricably linked to the effort already begun under the contract. The period of performance will be from 08 August 2016 to 30 September 2016, with three, one year options with a total period of performance from 08 August 2016 to 30 September 2019. It will also include provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%. Award will be made using other than full and open competition to EMCUBE Inc. of Alexandria, VA. No Solicitation package is available. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
