- Description
- The US Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District intends to solicit for Guard Services for the St. Mary's Falls Canal and for Government owned real estate along the St. Marys River, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, and supplies to provide security guard services. The contract will include a base year plus three (3) option years. The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The project will be advertised as a 100% SMALL-BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 561612. The small business size standard for this requirement is $20.5 million in average annual receipts. The solicitation is expected to be available on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in February 2016. The contract is expected to be awarded no later than April 2016. The solicitation package will be available only electronically via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Requests for solicitation packages made by telephone, fax, or email will not be honored. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must register their firms in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors can access and register their firms at SAM for free at www.SAM.gov.
