General Information THIS IS SYNOPSIS for the purchase titled for Medical Translation and Escort Services for 374 MDSS, Yokota Air Base, Japan. The purpose of this action is to synopsis to purchase the subject services. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. B. Scope of Work The requirements were 1) to provide on-site translation/management, 2) to provide translation services along with scheduled escorts to the local medical facilities, 3) to provide translation and other services concerning emergency transfers in accordance with the attached PWS. C. Planned Evaluation Criteria Competitive Limited Tradeoff (LTO). This is a competitive best value source selection in which Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. The Government intends to make award to the offeror who represents the best value to the Government. The lowest offeror may not be awarded. The Government intends to award without discussions with respective offerors. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest.
