- PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROCUREMENT IS BEING AMENDED TO REMOVE THE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. THIS PROCUREMENT IS NOW BEING SOLICITED AS AN UNRESTRICTED BUY. A SUBCONTRACTING PLAN WILL BE REQUIRED IF YOU ARE A LARGE BUSINESS. SURGE AND SUSTAINMENT QUANTITY HAS BEEN REDUCED TO 5. THE AMENDMENT WILL CLOSE ON JANUARY 29, 2016. This is an LTC Project, PR 1000036810. NSN: 1680-01-288-5006. The approved manufacturing sources of this item are Mason Electric Company, DBA 81579, P/N 16P1873-849 and Aerospace & Commerical, DBA 1XKR3, P/N 16P1873-849. The item is used on the F-16 Aircraft. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Only Vendors who have access to the data or can provide traceability to the approved sources should bid. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract with one, one-year Base period and four, one-year Option periods. The estimated annual demand quantity is 21 each. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 5 each for the base period only. The required production lead-time is 271 days after receipt of order (ARO). FOB at Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. Option to extend the terms of contract is 48 months. Duration of contract period is 60 months. This is a critical application item and export control applies. Surge and Sustainment is required, quantity 5, beginning 30 days after receipt of surge order and every 30 days for 6 months, MWR. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
