- Description
- The 14 Contracting Squadron, Columbus AFB, MS, intends to issue a solicitation on or about 18 February, 2016 for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quanity (IDIQ) contract for the Simplified Acqusition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) construction efforts at Columbus AFB, MS and Shuqualak Auxiliary Airfield, Shuqualak, MS. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ contract Small Business Set Aside 8(a). The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 236220, size standard is $33.5m. The period of performance is 16 September 2016 through 15 September 2017 with four (4) one-year options. This notice is not a request for quotes. The intent of this notice is to notify industry that the Government requirement will be posted in the near future. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation available. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Register via the SAM website at (https://www.sam.gov). Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications via the SAM website. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code). This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
