- Industry Day Event Information AFCAA Industry Day Questionnaire FA7014-16-R-5004 Research and Development for Cost Estimating Modeling (CEM) Cost Data Improvement Methods and Tools Development Registration is now closed for this Special Notice from Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), SAF Enterprise Support (PKS), concerning Draft Solicitation No. FA7014-16-R-5004, which serves as a notice to industry concerning procurement of Research and Development (R&D) for Cost Estimating Modeling (CEM) Cost Data Improvement Methods and Tools Development to meet the requirements of the Air Force Cost Analysis Agency (AFCAA). Industry Day will be held at Andrews AFB, 1500 West Perimeter Road, Suite 5440 (Jones Building) at 8:00 am sharp to 9:55 am for the main event. One-on-One sessions are already scheduled and confirmed for the remaining of the day. It is highly recommended for all vendors to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at HTTP://WWW.FBO.GOV under this announcement for any other changes and to get additional information after the Industry Day closes. Formal communications related to this acquisition shall be submitted by email to cynthia.i.harper.ctr@mail.mil or donald.w.morgan3.civ@mail.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. All communications SHALL be submitted ONLY in writing AND directly to the email addresses identified above. Attached is the questionnaire that each vendor can utilize for all communications, questions and comments to the Government regarding the AFCAA CEM R&D effort. The Industry Day Slide attachment contains information that is subject to change and nothing contained therein is binding. No Classified information shall be submitted in response to this notice. If an RFP is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential responder to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Government is not responsible for any delays in receipt of e-mailed registration forms, and interested parties. All registration forms were processed and the Government is not accepting any late registrations. Attendance at the Pre-Solicitation Conference is neither required nor is a prerequisite for proposal/bid submission, and participation will not be considered in the evaluation of proposals. After the conclusion of the conference, the government's presentation materials will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Instructions for entering JB Andrews for the Industry Day can be found on the website noted below. Visitor Access to Andrews Procedure and the phone number for the Visitor Center is 301-981-0689. It is the responsibility of each vendor who submitted the Visitor Pass Form to stop by the Visitor Center to get the pass prior to 7:30 am for entering the base. The Visitor Center is inside the main gate (by the McDonalds) on the left before the guard check-in point. The Jones Building is located after the guard check-in point straight ahead at the first light. To park for the Jones Building make a right at the yield before the light and then make the first left to park behind the Jones Building. Entrance to the Industry Day Event is through the left side glass doors. The right side or straight after walking from the parking lot is the JAG or court building. Once you enter the building and the elevator is straight ahead, go to the 5th floor and make the left then right down the hall to Suite 5440. The conference room will be open by 7:45 am and the main session will start promptly at 8:00 am. No refreshments are allowed in the conference room due to building ordnances.
