- Actual Solicitation The data shown above is based on the information provided on the purchase request for the Suggested Source of Supply (Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc). If like or similar items are offered as a substitute item to the suggested source of supply item, the technical and specification data and information sheets of this substitute item must be provided as attachments to the bid to allow for technical evaluation of the offered substitute item. Failure to provide this information will result in the bid to be rejected as Not Technically Acceptable. When the substitute offered item is sent to the Customer for Technical Evaluation, the below list of Salient Characteristics will be utilized to complete the analysis of the offered substitute item. These Salient Characteristics are listed in order of priority as Most Important to Least Important. They will be rated as YES – meets the criterion or NO – does not meet the criterion. NO ratings will be utilized as the grounds for the offered substitute item being found as Not Technically Acceptable. Any bid which fails to state their ability to meet any of the below listed salient characteristics will be rejected as Not Technically Acceptable. Salient Characteristics 1.
