- MARKET SURVEY This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. All of the following information is approximate and may be altered in the actual solicitation. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. DLA Land and Maritime anticipates issuing a solicitation in the near future for approximately 116 EA of NSN 5925-01-455-8635 on Solicitation Number SPE7M216R0020. Item will be purchased I/A/W the following: Circuit Breaker MANUFACTURER PART NUMBERS THAT APPEAR ON QPL AT THE TIME OF AWARD ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR PROCUREMENT. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION APPLIES. MERCURY OR MERCURY CONTAINING COMPOUNDS SHALL NOT BE ITENTIONALLY ADDED TO OR COME IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH ANY HARDWARE OR SUPPLIES FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. EXCEPTION: FUNCTIONAL MERCURY USED IN BATTERIES, FLUORESCENT LIGHTS, REQUIRED INSTRUMENTS; SENSORS OR CONTROLS; WEAPON SYSTEMS; AND CHEMICAL ANALYSIS REAGENTS SPECIFIED BY NAVSEA. PORTABLE FLUORESCENT LAMPS AND PORTABLE INSTRUMENTS CONTAINING MERCURY SHALL BE SHOCK PROOF AND CONTAIN A SECOND BOUNDARY OF CONTAINMENT OF THE MERCURY OR MERCURY COMPOUND. (IAW NAVSEA 5100-003D). CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM IAW BASIC SPEC NR MIL-DTL-17361/4B NOT 1 REVISION NR B DTD 09/09/2014 PART PIECE NUMBER: AQB-A103-100F IAW REFERENCE SPEC NR MIL-DTL-17361G SUP 1 REVISION NR G DTD 10/03/2006 PART PIECE NUMBER: AQB-A103-100F.. A 100% option may be included, which may or may not be exercised within the delivery period minus 14 days. Anticipated delivery location is New Cumberland PA 17070. The anticipated packaging requirements are as follows: PKGING DATA - MIL-STD-2073-1D, 15 DEC 1999 QUP:001 PRES MTHD:41 CLNG/DRY:1 PRESV MAT:00 WRAP MAT:00 CUSH/DUNN MAT:NA CUSH/DUNN THKNESS:X UNIT CONT:D3 OPLO INTERMDTE CONT QTY:AAA PACK CODE: U MARKING SHALL BE IN ACCORDACE WITH MIL-STD-129. SPECIAL MARKING CODE:00 -00 No special marking. The solicitation is anticipated to require FOB origin and inspection of the supplies and packaging at destination.
