- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following commercial item/services: Custodial, Housekeeping, Waste-Removal, and Insect Extermination (CHWIE) procurement. This procurement is a HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561720 and $18,000,000, respectively. The anticipated release date of Request for Proposal (RFP) NNJ15553635R is on or about January 22, 2016, with an anticipated proposal due date on or about February 23, 2016. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/p ub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/chwie/. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA Business Opportunities page is http://procurement.na sa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
