- The Public Works Department of Kings Bay, GA seeks information from the construction services industry on firms who currently possess a Department of Defense (DOD) Facilities clearance, at a minimum at the Confidential level. This office is only searching for small business construction companies registered in SAMS where the NAICS 236220 is listed. A sizeable quantity of current and future work is located in controlled and/or limited areas of the Kings Bay Submarine Base. Contracted companies who work in these areas must hold a DOD Facilities clearance, or be eligible to secure the required number of escorts (determined by project) from a qualified security firm. Capability statements are requested only from firms who hold such DOD Facilities clearance or have the capability to obtain security escort services via subcontract or other authorized means.
