- Solicitation Clauses Form 1448 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a paper solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation and the solicitation number is NRC-HQ-50-16-R-0001. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-82. This procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract. This acquisition is open to all businesses. The North American Industry Classification System code is 721110 [Hotels (Except Casino Hotels) and Motels) and the size standard is $32.5 Million. The contractor shall provide meeting space, and audio-visual services in the support of the 2016 Application of Safeguards to Geological Repositories Meeting from April 25, 2016 through April 28, 2016 in accordance with the terms and conditions of this solicitation, including the Statement of Work and Price Schedule. All quotations are due on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 5:00 PM, EST. Electronic submissions shall be sent to latoya.cooper@nrc.gov, faxed submissions shall be sent to (301) 415-5352. RFQ No.NRC-HQ-50-16-R-0001 will be distributed solely through the FBO.gov website (http://fbo.gov). All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through FBO.gov website. Hard copies of the solicitations documents and any attachments will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO.gov website to ensure that they have the most-up-to-date information related to this acquisition. The NRC will only respond to written questions associated with this solicitation. All questions shall be submitted in writing to latoya.cooper@nrc.gov no later than 10:00 AM, EST, on January 11, 2016. Reponses to the questions will be posted at (http://fbo.gov) as an amendment to the solicitation.
