- To assist with any confusion any vendor may have regarding the mobile ultrasound service requirements, please read below. Please read carefully to ensure that submission of quotes are done properly and accurately. It is estimated that it should take no more than an hour to run the necessary tests on one inmate. When the personnel come out to perform the services, the institution staff will arrange for him/her to perform anywhere between 8 to 25 sessions. (The personnel will have anywhere between 8 to 25 inmates during that time frame.) It is expected for them to perform these services 8 times a year. The schedule to perform services will be coordinated with the program staff at the institution. The exact type of ultrasound services needed to be performed were not specified, but the services would only require a small device that can be carried into the institution on a cart. The Schedule of Items/Contract Pricing and Schedule of Supplies/Services are the same. You are given the option to either use our form (Schedule of Supplies/Services) to submit your pricing or use your own as long as it is in the same basic format as ours. When calculating the requirement, do as follows. If your price is $100 then you would multiply it by the number of sessions/hours, which is 150 for the Base Year, which would equal $15,000 for that year. One session is defined as one hour. So for the Base Year, the personnel can expect to perform a maximum total of 150 sessions/hours at the institution. Also, please note that the institution wants the personnel to have a mobile ultrasound device that can be carried into the institution on a cart because the services will be performed inside the Medical facility of the institution. To allow time for review, I am extending the deadline for one week. The new deadline is set forth on next Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2pm CST.
