- DESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR NATIONAL CEMETERY ADMINISTRATION (NCA) FORT SAM HOUSTON NATIONAL CEMETERY, NATIONAL SHRINE PROJECT The Department of Veteran Affairs, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery intends to award a fixed price contract to remove, raise, realign, and reset designated upright headstones; clean upright headstones; and renovate designated sections of turf. The Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery is located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209. This procurement is a total Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside and the associated North American Industry System (NAICS) code is 812220 with business size standard of $20.5 Million. This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ); solicitation number is VA119A-16-Q-0013 and a firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Questions regarding this combined synopsis /solicitation are due on December 07, 2015 at 12:00 Noon EST. and responses to questions will be provided on December 14, 2015. No additional questions will be accepted after that time. The due date for submission of quotes is December 28, 2015 at 12:00 Noon EST.
