- Description
- This synopsis is being updated to communicate a revised estimated Level of Effort (LOE) for the CE Platforms Bridge contract. This update also provides a revised estimated award date associated with the CE Platforms follow on contract. The Government intends to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis from incumbent BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services at 520 Gaither Road Rockville, MD 20850 for 871,200.00 hours of Communication-Electronic (CE) Platforms support services rather than the 690,000.00 hours previously communicated. The proposed bridge contract is needed for continued support services currently being performed under contract N00421-09-C-0102 while the follow-on contract is being completed which now has an updated estimated award date of December 2018. No additional changes are being made to the information provided in the original synopsis. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. For subcontracting opportunities please contact Ms. Noreen Seevers at Noreen.seevers@baesystems.com. The Government will consider all information received by 19 December 2015 1600 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
