- This is a non-personal services contract to provide a Stray Animal Control Program. This is a Sources Sought announcement to request information for planning purposes only. This is not an announcement of a solicitation. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources, in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the MICC Fort Benning to the ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and request for solicitation will not receive a response. This Source Sought Notice is to support of market research being conducted by MICC Fort Benning to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling this requirement. To maintain a Stray Animal Control Program which has three components consisting of capture operations, holding operations and a disposition/adoption program. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Stray Animal Control and Adoption for the Fort Benning Installation as defined in the Performance Work Statement. It is the intention of the Government to award a Fixed Firm Priced award Contract for Stray Animal Control Services. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice shall provide MICC Fort Benning the following information which includes the following: Company Name, point of contact information and email address, and business size, and socioeconomic status. No proposals are requested by this announcement; all responses shall be solely in the form of information and materials. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award any contract on the basis of this sources sought. Further, the Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals or any cost or pricing data. Contractors are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be the sole responsibility of the contractor. All submissions will be treated as business confidential materials, become Government property, and will not be returned. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
