- Description
- The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration intend to award a sole source contract to Management and Training Corporation, 500 North Market Place Drive, Centerville, Utah 84101-1708. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical and training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide. This requirement is for the Montana/Utah Outreach and Admissions/Career Transition Services. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period; with two, 3-month option periods. The contractor shall provide material, services, and all necessary personnel to operate a Job Corps Outreach/Admissions and Post-Center Career Transition Services program. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for proposals. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 12:00PM EST by December 18, 2015, that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via Email transmittal to Greg Sabater at Sabater.Gregory@dol.gov. Within the Subject line of your Email, reference DOL-ETA-16-N-00015 Montana/Utah Outreach and Admissions/Career Transition Services. The determination not to compete the sole source contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
