- Appendix A The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District (TAM) is seeking preliminary information, for market research purposes only, from capable and reliable sources who may be interested in submitting a proposal to provide support services to the facilities and infrastructure recently constructed as part of the Peace Vector VII construction project at Cairo West, for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case in the country of Egypt. This requirement has country unique specifications for the facilities support. The facilities are referenced in the attached Appendix A. Interested parties shall provide documentation which illustrates capabilities to support all required facilities as stated in the Appendix A. If a solicitation is released at a later date, a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract type is being considered. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be one year. Interested parties shall provide capabilities statements with certification on the associated equipment and support type as detailed below and in Appendix A. Interested parties shall provide information with regard to their particular company to include company name, address, organization chart, point of contact, email address, phone number, and fax number. This support is multi-faceted and includes a. maintenance of specific facilities and infrastructure b. repair and replacement actions based on the maintenance c. minor construction to support base activation of equipment d. additional minor construction/repair and replacement as directed Actions expected to be performed under this requirement include: Electrical: including both medium and low voltage power, communications, lighting, fire alarm systems, interior and exterior systems, UPS systems, generators, etc. Mechanical: including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing system, chillers and water heaters, etc. Fire Protection: including fire alarm control panels and fire suppression systems, etc. Architectural: doors, windows, hardware, flooring, ceilings, etc. Structural: shelter doors. General: dust and pest control, general security (doors and windows locked). A. Site location: Egypt B. The magnitude of procurement for this acquisition is between $1,000,000.00 and $3,000,000.00.
