- Statement of Work Request for Quotes This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The Internal Revenue Service has a requirement for Patent Legal Firm services to identify the intellectual properties in IRS ALC to Java translation processes, prepare and prosecute the patent applications for these identified intellectual properties. IRS is seeking for an experienced vendor to provide legal services to identify and complete set of patent application filing services to help IRS to prepare and prosecute the patent applications using the Accelerated Examination Procedure options for the intellectual properties identified in IRS ALC to Java translation processes. This requirement is being procured using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS CODE is 541110- Offices of Lawyers. The small business size standard is $11 million. The Government contemplates to award a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. Request for Quotes (RFQ) number is TIRNO-16-Q-00039. Questions concerning this solicitation should be submitted in writing via email, within two days of the issuance date of this solicitation, to Mr. Julio Perdomo at e-mail address; julio.perdomo@irs.gov. Responsible contractors that can meet the requirements in this solicitation are welcome to respond with comprehensive quotes via email to Julio Perdomo at julio.perdomo@irs.gov by 9AM on December 18, 2015. The vendor shall be selected based on the lowest priced technically acceptable. Please refer to the attached Solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW). No phone calls will be accepted.
