- Mailbox 'D' VEGETATION OPENINGS: The purpose of this contract is secure service for thinning trees. Contractor shall designate the areas to create a mosaic wildlife opening to improve winter mule deer habitat. This contract is for thinning activities on up to 1,552 acres within an approximate 1,826 acre project area within Mailbox D. The contractor shall furnish all tools, GPS Unit, equipment; safety equipment such as Hardhats, eye protection, and chain saw chaps (Chain saw chaps shall be in a good and acceptable condition.) Materials, supplies, labor, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, and transportation necessary to accomplish the thinning project. A daily log of the amount of acres cut will be required.
